The founding member is well experienced in Marketing communications and public relations (PR), having occupied positions in the Marketing communications, business development (BD) and public relations (PR) for several years in different sectors and industries.

Lupfumo was established in 2006 as Kgatelo Pele 945, a sole proprietorship. In 2019 the company changed its name to Lupfumo Lwa Vha Duhulu Vha and was registered as a (Pty) Ltd company.
